Had an amazing experience at BTR! The food really captures true Bangalore flavors. We ordered the Bangalore OG Dosa, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly made. The vada was fresh and crunchy, and the chutneys paired really well with everything.
The absolute highlight, though, was the filter coffee—rich, aromatic, and easily one of the best I’ve had. Service was friendly and quick, and the place felt clean and welcoming.
If you’re craving authentic Bangalore-style food in the Austin area, this spot is a must-try! link

I've already eaten at Bangalore Tiffin Room four times... and I'm officially obsessed. This place just does everything right. The prices are fair, there's plenty of parking, and the service is quick (especially for being the holidays now and they are extremely busy)-- you put your order in and the food comes out so fast, which is perfect when you're hungry.
What really keeps me coming back, though, is how incredible the food is. The idlis are super soft, and I especially love the Thatte Podi Idli. The Bangalore masala dosa is a must-order -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done - same with the vade. The sambar is so tasty, and all the chutneys are on point (tomato and coconut).
Honestly, I don't have much to complain about here. If you love South Indian food, this place is a no-brainer. Already planning my next visit.

Idli sambar dip: extremely soft idlis, sambar and chutney were super delicious!!
Uddina vade: Finally found a place that serves tasty and well cooked vada!!
Benne masala dosa: The taste and texture were really good!! Masala was no spicy (I prefer it that way)
We waited for ~20 min on a saturday afternoon. They have limited items on the menu. But I think all the items are worth a try and would love to try other dishes next time!
